I know that at least once in everyones life each person has visualized a place that they think is the most peaceful place and wish that they could stay there forever.
For me, my safe haven is a place out in the open air. Someplace in a deep forest, a froest that the trees give shade, yet it it not too dark. It's bright enough that you can see perfectly, yet dark enough that you don't have to squint at the light. My safe haven has many rivers flowing through it, the water moving slow enough that fish swin in it. Many animals such as deer come to the rivers' edges to get a drink. Also, above in the canopies circle many birds, some as small as finches to majestic eagles. Also, some place in the distance, in the deepest part of the forest is a structure that shimmers in the light that passes through the trees. Yet other than the light that shimmers, the area is rather dark, darker than the rest of the forest. The interior of the structure is made of crystal and spacious.
That is my safe haven that I envisualize. What's yours? No spamming please.

A pond in a forest. I know I usually like the open air, but that's only for a place to be with people, and the pond is more of a personal place. The water is still and clear, and many different types of fish live there. The sun shines bright, giving off a gentle warmth and light, while the trees offer the shade that some may look for. The wind creates a gentle breeze, and the flowers are all softly colored, and plentiful. All creatures are welcomed, as long as no one disturbs the peace.

But isn't that a bit too lonely? I mean, yes, we all need our alone time, but like that? Even if there is no one to bother you, there's no one to talk to and confide you feelings to either.

now that i think about it most of the time it's when i'm around little mike so i guess thats when i feel safe and nothing can hurt me!

Mine is on a slight slope hill and laying on the grass with the wind blowing softly. Also, with my CD player on and loud, I'll look up to the sky and it would seem the sky is singing instead of the CD is playing it. I kinda tried that once but it was when I was waiting for the bus and it was night time. It's pretty cool. ^.-;
